I was lucky enough to score a free Etude House Dear Darling Tint in Berry Red when I worked on a photo shoot. I wasn’t keen on using it at first because I had so many bad experiences with lip and cheek tints before. I was thinking, “What else is new anyway?” But out of curiosity, I opened it and tried it on myself.

My reaction was, “OMG!” I could not believe that I’ve never tried this before. It was a match made in heaven!

As you can see, I used it on my cheeks and it looked so natural. It’s like I was blushing from the inside. With other cheek tints, I normally have a hard time blending it. I need to move fast or else my face would be a spectacle of red streaks and dots.

But with my Dear Darling Tint, I was amazed that it blended so well on my cheeks and the texture is not really liquid, but a finer type of gel.

The good:

1. Easy to blend

2. Cute packaging

3. Very fruity taste

4. Lasted quite long—approximately 5 hours

The bad:

1. The applicator looked like a normal q-tip, so I needed to blend it on my fingers first before I applied it on my cheeks.

2. It worked perfectly on my cheeks but fell short on my lips.

In total, I am very happy with this tint and I am glad that I was curious enough to try it out.

Be happy. Stay pretty.
