from 134 reviewsAnd for the controversial year 2020, I thought of the planner that got away. I said, I need the best planner to start my year right. Ive searched and found belle de jour and it was selling like hotcakes! I bought it directly from your website. Even buying from your website is fun!!! Day by day, I discover the group, the page, the bond of the ladies, the events, etc.at then I realized, this is not just a personal planner, being a bella is about helping and inspiring other ladies out there to get through another year and hopefully closer to their goals. Being a Bella is not simply journaling and planning on your own, but, holding each other's hands whispering: kaya mo yan! Ikaw pa ba?!
I discovered BDJ from a friend. I am a person who is struggling on how i can manage my time correctly, little did i know that this planner can really help me with it. From designing and visualizing my dream board, by being true to my self, by changing my daily routine (more healthier), by tracking may savings, and by writing my daily thoughts and reflections.
I passed by BDJ promotions on ig then checked the products since I'm a fan of journals/planners and all that, didn't buy though because I didn't have enough money before. I also saw some of the products in Nat Book Store in Galleria however,I already have my planner back then so I didn't buy. I think, they were able to save my email through their website and sent me promotional emails and accidentally read some. Long story short, I got to join the YouGotThis page last year and was able yo participate the YouGotThis summit! It was very very helpful for me, just by listening to the speakers and to Ms. Dar's story. I was able to process well my emotions, felt like it was a hug from stranger that meant a lot to me because it felt like I was understood. It was the best accident that ever happened during the 1st year of pandemic, by accidentaly joining the summit and meeting a lot of people who were the like-minded. Before, I thought I was the only one who write down my thought, day-to-day tasks, and do journaling among my friends so I don't talk about it much. But it really helped me process my thoughts and also read it again and feel nostalgic about the memories written. Then, I met BDJ, and suddenly it felt belongingness to a community with the same hobbies. I bought a lot from BDJ, and made me use it like almost everyday and once a week for my planner. It made me productive and organized. I was very grateful to be part of this community that understands each other and learned to process my thoughts by writing on my BDJ products!
Since I was a kid, I always look forward to receiving planners because I love writing down memories, birthdays, special occasions. The only planners I know contain plain boxes with dates, and pages for notes and contact details. It gets boring sometimes especially if there are unfilled boxes or spaces.
When I saw a BDJ planner in a bookstore and browsed its pages, I realized that using a planner can be more exciting! I was mesmerized with the designs and the content of the planner -- It is not your ordinary planner, it has something more! Unfortunately, at that time I don't have extra money. I have just started my professional career, and earned just enough money to sustain my needs. For years, I was just browsing through pages and telling myself that one day I will be able to buy a BDJ planner. Instead, I resorted to investing in smartphones and got used to free apps to keep track of my activities, or events.
Until the pandemic started, I somehow got 'lost' in the way especially with the challenge of juggling from the WFH set-up and having a toddler. And my travel business stopped operating because of all the strict travel restrictions. With all the stresses that came with the pandemic, I needed a community where I can learn and somehow restart my mind to improve more. I joined the BDJ community on Facebook, and found what I really wanted. A community that encourages everyone to become a better version of themselves. A community that is very generous with sharing insights, and empowers everyone through informative and inspirational messages.
I love how BDJ planners always start with goal-setting and how it clearly directs me towards my goals through the activities. Everytime I open my planner, I am reminded to ACT NOW and chase my dreams.
I love writing and scribbling on my BDJ notebooks. It is where I write my notes/learnings from different webinars, my self affirmations, and where I repeatedly write down my goals. I believed that writing by hands improve memory retention, and I wanted to always remember my goals. I love how I can draw and design every pages.. it relaxes both my body and mind.
I love watching and participating in BDJ's FB live sessions or even the FB stories, because I learn something new everytime. BDJ brought me back to the pathway to success and pursues me achieve my goal because I clearly understand my strengths and I claim that I can reach my goals.
Thank you BDJ for empowering every Bella! I am sure you have created and will be creating positive impact to every Bella, including me of course ❤ More power to BDJ! Looking forward to more inspiring messages, webinars.. and of course, wonderfully created journals and planners. 😊
I discovered BDJ through Facebook. I’ve actually seen it before in college but never paid much attention to it. Only during the pandemic when I was trying to get my life in order did I decide to get a planner again (did planning before but stopped). It’s honestly been super helpful. I remember at the start of January, I felt lost and stuck and was writing my goals down hoping that I’d be able to say I accomplished those things by the end of the yr. Happy to say the journal helped me accomplish 90% of those goals already since I took it one day at a time. Despite slow progress, I guess it’s still progress. Was even able to get a new job after being stuck in the same place for 4 yrs!
I first heard of it way back when my friend Jem spoke about it. I was into Starbucks planners at the time. Then I met Dar at a work meeting in 2020 and she spoke about her passion and how BDJ was rooted on consumer insight. I tried one and she was right. I was hooked. It's helped a lot during the pandemic because in a world full of uncertainty, two things were certain: you can still dream and make these dreams reality. The journal was one not just of tasks but of hope. And when I see months completed and all the tasks and goals done, then it gives me a sense of calm and accomplishment.
i first found it in national bookstore back when i was in college 12 years ago. i wasn't into planner that time, cos as long as i have a blank notebook/canvass, i can plan everything. im more of a simple type of planner/journalese. but after graduating and entering the real and working field, my blank notebooks doesnt do any justice na. i think its becoming bland and im looking for something refreshing in y eye everyday. so thats when i remembered your brand. like hey i believe theres this planner na cute but at the same time it has activities and stuff that will get you reaching for your planner. and yeah, my day to day has never been the same. kahit na everyday ko nakikita and nababasa yung content ng planner ko, i am always looking forward to touching its smooth pages, reading past month activities, reading the quotes and affirmations written in different corners of the page. it fuels me up and makes me feel good about myself. i think i may be late, got to see you guys 12 years ago, and i just really started to get to know you for 3 years pa lang. also a member of the bella community in facebook, kaso im not really active on social media, so yeah, my bdj planner is my everyday companion and friend and listener who doesnt talk back. hahah *winks thanks bdj.
The BDJ Planner is not only a planner, it is a guide for my future. It helps me to organize my thoughts and my activities. The vision board part, made me more specific of what I want in life and to focus on reaching my goal. It gave me a sense of direction.
My first BDJ Planner was my cousin’s gift to me in my 18th birthday, that’s how I discovered them. Before, I’m not really a person who does journaling, but when it was gifted to me, I got into it. The one that I got was the minimalistic planner, and I love how it gave me the freedom to design/write on it in my own terms. Since then, I always buy BDJ Planner every year, I even asked it in my Christmas wishlist! This planner/ journal helped me appreciate the little things/ blessings that I have because I write on it everyday. When I overthink things, sometimes, I read back in my past journals and remember all the good things that happened to me during those days. It also served as my memory keeper since sometimes I forget events and then when I read back on it, I was like ‘Oh, that’s what happened on that day? Good thing I wrote it down’. It really helped me to remember things, and look how far I’ve come. More power to the team! Love lots <3
I discovered BDJ in 2011, At that time, the stocks were so limited that you can only buy from facebook resellers so you’d have to spend more that the SRP! Ganun siya ka in-demand. I was a college student then but still tried it because of the reviews. From there, I made sure to write/draw my yearly goals in my planner and looking back… maybe 80-90% of those goals actually came to life! Amazing noh! The power of visualization!
Through BDJ, I also got to meet a lot of Bellas whom I still consider my friends to date! Imagine the accumulated number of Bella friends from 2011 to present!! haha We all learned from the talks and enjoyed during the different BDJ Rendezvous, not to mention that we get to take home so many goodies from the generous sponsors of BDJ! Walang umuuwing luhaan talaga. Lagi pang catered yung food! HAHA omg. That made me nostalgic.
Seriously speaking, I can say that the talks really molded who I am as a woman today. The speakers and the topics they choose are really well thought of. It’s a gem to find a brand that is serious when they say they are all about women empowerment. I am a living testimony to that.
I discovered it was Belle de Jour and ordered BDJ planner 2020. I am so happy! It helped me organize my tasks, track my cash both savings and spending, as well as monitor where I am in my vision board.
The great difference it made was it gave me control and in the midst of this pandemic, I have a medium to turn to on my rants, causes of my stress, organize my plans, and let go of my creativity. It also made me discover more of myself.
It all started when my sister asked me to join a BDJ launching event way back 2011. As a person who used to be lazy jotting down things happening in my life, it was truly life changing. Ever since that day, I always write in my BDJ planner & journal and my life has been very organized. I survived high school, nursing school and now medical school with the help of BDJ. All the weekly quotes keeps me going on a tough week. Moreover, my BDJ planners & journals serve as my memory lane. Every time I look back to my old entries, i realize the growth I have since day 1. I remember all the struggles and happy memories I had, which I all wrote down in my bdj planners and journals. I place there all the memorabilia I have (plane tickets, concert tickets, movie tickets). Looking back at these memories makes me so happy and relieved. BDJ is already part of my life. It is a vital tool that keeps me going. Without BDJ and its community, I wouldn't be the person I am now :) and the story continues as long as BDJ is alive ❤️
2016 is the year I first used BDJ for my wedding year. It has been such a nice companion in listing all our wedding plans and it all worked out fine because of the help of my bdj planner. Including coupons that we used during meetings. And now, thesr trying times are really rough and we need to keep track of what we’re doing in order to keep moving forward. Bdj has been my companion in moving forward, listing notes of what can be improved for tomorrow and keeping up with my mental health too by those inspiring messages. And very cozy theme. Thank you for making life easier for me and for a lot of bellas out there. Kudos, bdj!
